Il Mixed Ability \u00e8 iniziato quando persone che erano escluse dal poter prendere decisioni quotidiane circa la propria vita hanno deciso di sfidare queste discriminazioni, e non accettare pi\u00f9 che altri potessero dire quello che possiamo o non possiamo fare.<\/p>\n

Il Gruppo di \u2018Inclusione attraverso lo Sport\u2019 di IMAS include esperti con esperienza vissuta di disabilit\u00e0. Ci riuniamo ogni settimana per condividere esperienze, e coprodurre materiali educativi e formativi che sono una parte essenziale del lavoro di IMAS. Questa \u00e8 una rete internazionale con esperti con esperienza in molti paesi.<\/p>\n

Molte persone oggi affrontano barriere per partecipare allo sport a causa dello stigma, dei pregiudizi o delle percezioni personali sulle proprie capacit\u00e0. IMAS esiste per cambiare questo attraverso il modello Mixed Ability! Il modello Mixed Ability non \u00e8 altro che sport, educazione e opportunit\u00e0, riconoscendo il diritto di tutte le persone a prendere parte allo sport comunitario, come uguali, senza essere separate, classificate o identificate.<\/p>\n

La formazione \u00e8 una componente fondamentale del modello Mixed Ability. La squadra educativa di IMAS impiega esperti ed esperte con esperienza diretta nella disabilit\u00e0, coproduce e impartisce formazione e risorse Mixed Ability, condividendo la conoscenza e le esperienze con allenatori, club, federazioni, e molte altre organizzazioni pubbliche e private.<\/p>\n

Tra questi figurano istituzioni educative, professionisti della salute, enti del terzo settore e imprese private. In questo modo, si d\u00e0 spazio a voci rilevanti, si concretizzano modelli realistici e chi ha l\u2019esperienza diretta di superare l\u2019esclusione pu\u00f2 influenzare direttamente il cambiamento in senso positivo. Tutti questi contesti si collegano per creare impatti trasformativi a livello dell\u2019intero sistema sociale.<\/p>\n

Quindi, dove ci pu\u00f2 condurre tutto questo? Insieme, possiamo trasformare le politiche affinch\u00e9 i legami tra salute, l\u2019educazione e lo sport siano allineati e perch\u00e9 le persone si trovino al centro delle decisioni sulle proprie vite e sul proprio futuro. Possiamo reimmaginare lo sport, laddove l\u2019accento sia non solamente sulla performance e il livello d\u2019\u00e9lite ma sul benessere, la crescita personale e sociale, e la salute a 360 gradi.<\/p>\n

E possiamo creare un movimento internazionale in cui le esperienze circolano, si confrontano e si rinforzano a livello globale per ottenere un impatto che sia rilevante in tutti i contesti. Dopo tutto, se questo \u00e8 possibile nello sport, perch\u00e9 non nel resto della societ\u00e0?<\/p>\n
